Academy charter: respect, tolerance, kindness
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Our commitment
RiaChess is a space open to everyone: beginners and strong players, children and adults, regardless of origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or playing level.
This charter applies everywhere the RiaChess community meets: online games, site messaging, comments, coaching sessions, tournaments, and academy events.
Respect and kindness
Everyone learns at their own pace: a beginner who loses their queen doesn't need to be mocked for it.
Encourage, explain, share: everyone's progress matters more than the result of a single game.
Disagreements about a move or a rule are settled through discussion, never through aggression.
Tolerance and anti-discrimination
Any discrimination based on origin, skin color, sex, age, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly forbidden, both on and off the platform.
Racist, sexist, homophobic, or ableist remarks result in immediate exclusion from the academy, with no prior warning.
Harassment and violence: zero tolerance
Insults, threats, repeated intimidation, public or private humiliation: none of these have a place at RiaChess, whether during a game, in chat, or on our social channels.
False cheating accusations used to humiliate or harass another player also count as harassment.
Any physical or verbal violence at an academy event results in immediate exclusion.
How to report an issue
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this charter, contact us directly at riadh.mnasri@wehightech.com. Every report is handled individually and in strict confidence.
We commit to responding to every report as quickly as possible.
Sanctions
Depending on the severity of the facts, sanctions range from a warning to a temporary suspension, up to permanent exclusion from the academy. Confirmed cases of harassment, violence, or discrimination result in immediate exclusion, with no notice.
